Friday, August 16th through Monday, September 2nd
The Canadian National Exhibition is back for its 70th year! This event is one of the largest fairs in North America and consist of a variety of entertainment and activities, including rides and games, a parade, sporting events, concerts, celebrity chef demonstrations, international food and a 3-day air show!
Monday, September 2nd
The annual Labour Day Parade is back for its 125th year! This parade celebrates the solidarity and strength of workers everywhere. The parade starts at 11:00 am on Labor Day and the route travels along Queen Street from University Avenue. It is recommended that those wishing to watch the parade arrive early to avoid traffic.
Monday September 2nd
On Labour Day, celebrate another year of hard and successful work at Brewer’s Backyard! This event is a local Toronto favorite. At this celebration, there will be an awesome lineup of both food and beer from some of Toronto’s best brewers and food vendors. This event will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm in The Pavilions area of the Brick Works. Admission to this event is free.
Tuesday, September 3rd through Thursday, September 5th
While this event doesn’t take place during Labor Day weekend, Labor Day week is the kickoff for Toronto Fashion Week. This 3-day event features many different events as well as the work of many different Canadian designers.
