Canada Day Toronto Events 2019
Saturday, June 29th
The Queen’s Plate is Canada’s oldest thoroughbred horse race and the longest continuously run race in North America. This race has a tradition of fashion, food and is the talk of the Toronto social scene. There will also be a Hats and Horseshoes party area where there will be red carpet moments, style contests and lawn games.
Saturday, June 29th through July 1st
This year is the 18th annual Toronto Ribfest! This event will feature a variety of live entertainment, delicious food, kids’ activities and more. As an added bonus, when you attend Toronto Ribfest, you are helping out your community. All proceeds from this event will go back to the community and various programs that will help to make the city a better place.
Canada Day Lunch on Jubilee Queen Cruise
Sunday, June 30th
Are you looking for an extra special way to celebrate Canada Day? On Sunday, June 30th, board the Jubilee Queen Cruise for the Canada Day Lunch Cruise! The cruise will sail through the waterways of the Toronto Islands as you enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. There will also be a professional DJ onboard to give the cruise a tropical feel.
Monday, July 1st
This Canada Day, Party Like it’s 1867 at Black Creek Pioneer Village! This unique event will feature 19th century carnival performers, theatrical performances, carnival games and more. Visitors will get to learn all about what life was like back in 1867 by touring a village and listening to a history presentation. Additionally, in the event pavilion, 40 new Canadians will receive their citizenship.
Canada Day Fireworks 2019
Monday, July 1st
On Monday, July 1st, visit Downtown Stratford for a fun parade celebrating Canada Day! The parade will showcase business and organizations of Stratford. Starting around dusk, there will be a firework display for all to enjoy.
