Scarborough Ribfest

Friday, August 2nd through Monday, August 5th
The Scarborough Ribfest is back for another year at the Thompson Memorial Park! Everyday throughout the festival, there will be different performances, acts and entertainment. There will also be karaoke competitions, rides, skill testing games, delicious food and so much more!

Penguin Awareness Weekend

Saturday, August 3rd to Monday, August 5th
Make a difference during your Simcoe Day celebration at Penguin Awareness Weekend at the Toronto Zoo! Over the past 100 years, the number of penguins left on the earth has plummeted. All throughout the weekend there will be different events, including meet and greets, activities, silent auctions and drawings for unique penguin prizes.

Simcoe Day at Fort York

Monday, August 5th
In honor of the first lieutenant-governor of Upper Canada, John Graves Simcoe, visit Fort York on Simcoe Day for a fun and educational event! Visitors can walk the fort grounds, listen to music demonstrations, visit the working kitchen in the 1815 Officers’ Brick Barracks and enjoy historical crafts and displays.

Canada’s Wonderland and Splash Works

All summer long
